Overview

Benefit Planning Sales Executives are in charge of forging new relationships with prospective clients and consulting with them on their benefits program. Our dynamic sales colleagues are assertive, business-savvy, and not afraid to challenge the status quo. We will provide you with the tools to develop top-notch business acumen. You will research the needs of our clients and propose impactful solutions that will help them better understand how to manage and appropriately insure their risk.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and continually lead by example.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with fellow colleagues.
  • Work as a team member to achieve profit center goals and overall company goals.
  • Demonstrate positive customer service skills, internally and externally, with effective communication, respect, and integrity.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information related to clients, customers, colleagues, carriers, or as appropriate, other information.
  • Design and recommend coverage to clients that identify the client’s needs, gaps in coverage, and loss exposures.
  • Increase established book of business through organic growth.
  • Participate in the development of annual sales objectives.
  • Work with a dynamic team to achieve profit center goals and overall company goals.
  • Demonstrate positive customer service skills, internally and externally, with effective communication, respect, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and act on cross sell opportunities with existing clients within the organization.
  • Actively participate in organization initiatives and support core values; including but not limited to driving and promoting community involvement of others.

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree or equivalency strongly preferred
  • A consultative mindsetthe ability to discover what our clients need and provide them with innovative solutions
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain a Life & Health Insurance License
  • Track record of great relationships built through your sociability, persuasion, and strong two-way communication
  • General business savvy (not necessarily insurance experience)
